Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Being a big Disney fan I couldn't be more excited for Moana. It looks gorgeous, but more importantly than that it's covering some fascinating ground/mythology. The Polynesian influence has been with Disney since the '50s. One of Walt's favorite Disneyland attractions was the Tiki Room. That culture has been in the DNA of Disney since the early days (not just since Lilo & Stitch).
The only teeny tiny bit of trepidation I have is that The Rock's Maui seems to be skirting dangerously close to Dreamworks' patented modern day referential humor shit. That drives me crazy, but hopefully it's minimized in the finished film.
