Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm a big fan of teaser trailers (as evidenced by this story and this one, too), so I gotta give the Annabelle 2 team a thumbs up for their approach to the first bit of footage from their movie.
Now, I thought the first Annabelle spin-off was utterly forgettable, with one or two decent set piece that were heavily featured in the trailer. I'm a little tired of the cutting-frames jerky evil kid thing, but what gives me hope in this teaser for the sequel is Mirando Otto utterly selling the horror she's witnessing. One, it's just nice to see Mirando Otto again and two, if she's as good in the rest of the movie as she is in this teaser then that's going to be our in as an audience.
Anyway, I've talked way too long about this. Watch it for yourself and discuss!
