Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. In possibly the weirdest, but most badass move yet, it looks like Fox is going to make a Stan Lee biopic, but in the tone of something like Kingsman, per THR.
Maze Runner producers Marty Bowen and Wyck have secured Lee's life rights and have the project set up at Fox, home of X-Men and Fantastic Four. Their imaginative approach to a biopic is quite interesting and just when I thought it was far fetched I stumbled across the photo I used as the header image and now can totally see a “Roger Moore 007” approach to a Stan Lee biopic. The man's always been bigger than life and crazy colorful, so doing an exaggerated dramatization of his life's story is somehow perfectly fitting.
No writer is on board yet, but the project is moving forward within the studio. I just hope they get to make this bit of insanity and that Lee, of course, will cameo in there somewhere.
