Now - is there a prayer that this could possibly be steamy this time, instead of the flaccid anti-erotica that the first film was? Absolutely. This time out the director is James Foley - everybody uses HOUSE OF CARDS - because well let's face it the media has the shortest memory in the history of humankind. No, when you say James Foley - and you say he's directing a film that is supposed to turn the heat up... you go directly to AFTER DARK, MY SWEET. You don't know it? You should. It will fog one's glasses up. I know, the source material isn't anywhere near the best in hot & bothered page turners, but James Foley could very well make this something that counts. At least, I hope so. American cinema needs a libido again. Here's the teaser for the teaser that will tease us tomorrow.
