Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. There are a ton of great behind the scenes pics out there for Spielberg's ET. I've run a few in this new relaunch of this column and a bunch way back during the original run of the BtSPotD, but I think today's image might be one of my favorites.
It could be the childlike joy on Spielberg's face as he imparts some of his hard-earned knowledge of working with fake sharks onto young Henry Thomas or the total concentration on Thomas' face as he watches Spielberg mess around with a toy shark. Something about this image makes me smile big-big.
