The Behind the Scenes Pic of the Day: George Miller, John Lithgow and a gremlin on the set of THE TWILIGHT ZONE MOVIE!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Today's BTS pic is one of my favorites that I've gotten to share recently. I know there's a big shadow that falls over The Twilight Zone movie, a negligent elephant in the room whenever the film is discussed. The movie is forever scarred with tragedy, which is a shame because it's pretty damn good.

John Landis' bookends are perfect, as horrible as the events surrounding Vic Morrow's segment are it's one of the best, most Twilight Zone-y morality tales in the whole thing, Spielberg's segment is fluffy and hollow, but sweet, Dante's is pure Looney Tunes craziness and George Miller's is a classic that one-ups one of the most famous Twilight Zone episodes ever.

Today's picture comes from the making of Miller's segment, which shows John Lithgow's descent into madness as he seems to be the only one to spot the gremlin on the wing of his airplane.

This photo is totally boss. Look at Miller rocking that pipe! Look at Lithgow in character and that sweet make-up on the gremlin!

Many thanks to Joe Dante for sharing this one.

Get ready for more Miller tomorrow. No pig shit, I promise! See ya' then!
