Hey folks, Harry here and word is coming in that casting is well underway on BLADE 2. It seems that Kris Kristofferson will be surviving on board reprising his role as Whistler... at least according to Variety's Michael Fleming. Kris is also going to be in PLANET OF THE APES for Tim Burton. I also received the following email concerning another actor allegedly up for BLADE 2:

I saw that you like Tcheky Karyo from your report on KISS OF THE DRAGON. I know Tcheky and spoke with him recently and he said that he would be playing a vampire in BLADE 2. Sorry I do not know more, but I thought you would want to know. He is a very good person and it is very nice to see him doing well.

I haven't read BLADE 2 yet, but I assume from the reports I have seen that Tcheky would probably be one of the vampires that are with Blade fighting the 'even worse than vampires'. Heheh... I can't wait to hear how the rest of casting goes. I have a feeling that after DEVIL'S BACKBONE and BLADE 2, Guillermo Del Toro will be a busy fella.
