Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with an interesting clip from Writer/Director Ben Cresciman's SUN CHOKE. The film stars Sarah Hagan, Sara Malakul Lane and Barbara Crampton in a film that dips into some dark territory. "As Janie recovers from a violent psychotic break, she’s subjected each day to a bizarre holistic health and wellness regimen designed, and enforced, by her lifelong nanny and caretaker. But when she develops an obsession with a stranger, Janie’s buried demons begin to surface." The film seems like my kind of dark, and provided this clip is a good picture of the rest of the film - I'd be curious to watch it myself as it seems reserved and simple, versus any odd jump cuts and forced light leaks (think GHOST HUNTERS). What I guess I'm trying to say is - I like how straightforward the movie seems to be, leaning on performances over light bulb bits of flashiness. The movie hits VOD August 2nd and select theaters on August 5th.
