Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. EW's big Comic-Con issue is always filled with geeky reveals and we're getting so much stuff right now. The newest is a series of four brand new stills for Patty Jenkins' standalone Wonder Woman film.
In terms of what we've seen on screen so far Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman is a bit of a mixed bag. She looks great in costume, has the right strong warrior demeanor, but was pretty underwritten in Batman v Superman. Having briefly met her (in costume no less) and seen her work on my day on the set of Justice League I can report that Gadot is allowed to show some real personality as Wonder Woman in that film and it makes a world of difference.
My hopes for Patty Jenkins' film is pretty high. I think these two are a great match and knowing that Gadot has the charm to back up the badass warrior side of the character makes me think this film could be crucial to stabalizing the currently shakey DCEU.
