Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Ridley Scott is tied to the BtSPotD pretty strongly. The first entry to this column, the image that inspired the whole thing, was a great shot showing off the set of the first Alien.
So, it's only fitting that Mr. Scott returns to the BtS column. This image comes from the making of Blade Runner and I chose it because later today I'll be taking my 9 year old nephew to see this movie for the first time (on a double with The Thing) and I'm dying to see how he reacts. Will he be bored? Will he be intrigued? I honestly have no idea which way he'll fall, but I know no matter what I'm excited to rewatch the movie through his eyes.
This image is pretty all-time, I gotta say. Either Ford is in character or Scott's really into showing Roy Batty how to do this scene.
