Hey folks, Harry here... If you've been wanting to know more about Idris Elba's character, this is certainly the only featurette for you. That said, it doesn't really tell you all that much, which is fine, I don't need to know in advance. What I find more surprising is the group amnesia about destroying ENTERPRISEs in Star Trek film history. I mean, it has happened. Not on the classic series, where they were mostly concerned with that Space Wagon keeping their series characters on fantastic adventures with strange new worlds and civilizations. Which, we're also getting here. Apparently. I have to confess - The Enterprise destruction being the key push for this film - I'm sure it gets blown up and shredded real good, but destruction for destruction sake is an empty pursuit. Let's hope it's a big distraction and hype item that's easy to sell the film on, but that there's so much more to the film than that. Got my fingers crossed!
I like the Krall design... That he's a Nihilist, makes me want to do a BEYOND LEBOWSKI mashup.
