Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. The Nice Guys is awesome. If you haven't seen it, go check it out. Also, what's wrong with you? You're the reason why we can't have nice things!
There were many great things about Shane Black's movie. The Looney Tunes style violence, the perfect period setting, the chemistry between Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, etc. But one of the biggest surprises of the film was just how great Angourie Rice was as Gosling's take-no-shit eager young detective daughter. She just about stole the movie from a cast of movie stars at their most charismatic.
Now THR is saying she's been cast (along with just about every promising young actor in the motion picture business) in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
They don't know who she's playing, but the obvious guess is Gwen Stacey. I mean, she's blonde and awesome, so that's a no-duh. However she could be playing any number of young characters at Peter's school, so who knows?
All I know is that I'm super excited for this film and I hope it lives up to the promise Tom Holland showed in Civil War.
