Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. One of the only major roles left to be cast in Justice League is that of big bad guy Steppenwolf, who leads an army of Parademons against the newly formed superfriends in Zack Snyder's movie. Two names have come out today as associated with the movie. The first, and most reliable, is Invictus' Julian Lewis Jones who did an interview with Wales Online where he hinted to the point of just flat out saying he's been cast in Justice League.
The other name is Colin Farrell, which makes more sense, but also seems to be pure pulled-out-of-someone's-ass bullshit that isn't shaking out with the sources from other scoop hunters, so I wouldn't count on Farrell showing up in the movie in any form.
Now, it's possible Jones isn't playing Steppenwolf, but will be some smaller character that pops up somewhere along the way. I'd imagine they'd want a more known presence for Steppenwolf, even if it will be executed only via performance capture. He is, afterall, the big bad guy of this massive tentpole movie.
