Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Get ready, there's a ton of E3 stuff coming up. Sony's big presentation last night had a lot of great reveals. Let's start with the pretty awesome reveal and gameplay trailers for franchise favorite RESIDENT EVIL's newest installment.
First thing that strikes me about the footage is that they're backing away from the ball-out action and returning to their horror gameplay roots. This is good news, but I'm already having panic attacks about lack of ammo and health packs and the game doesn't come out until January 24th, 2017!
Let's look at the reveal trailer first:
That trailer's cool, it's creepy, I dig it, but what really sold me was the gameplay footage below. The lighting effects are downright incredible. We're finally getting to that stage in current gen consoles where developers aren't afraid to use the specs to their fullest amounts and leave the last gen consoles behind in the dust. Check it out:
The game comes out January next year on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Amazon has pre-orders open for PS4 right now. Click below for that shit!
