Did Ellen Ripley’s mom battle aliens decades before Ripley did?
The Playlist.net posted intel Thursday suggesting Katherine Waterson’s character Daniels in “Alien: Covenant” is mother to Ripley.
That’s pretty wacky, right? But 20th Century Fox apparently ordered The Playlist to remove that rumor, and that rumor is gone – only adding credence to the notion.
Directed by Ridley Scott (“Alien,” “Prometheus”) from a screenplay by Jack Paglen (“Transcendence”), Michael Green (“Green Lantern”) and John Logan (“SPECTRE”), the "Alien" prequel stars also Michael Fassbender (likely reprising Prometheus cyborg David), Amy Seimetz, Billy Crudup, Jussie Smollett, Danny McBride and Demián Bichir.
Aug. 4, 2017 is when "Alien Covenant" skitters into cinemas.
