Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Michael Bay can't quit Transformers movies (even though he's threatened to in the past) and he's gearing up for production on the fifth film next month, with Mark Wahlberg back in the lead.
The production has announced the title via Instagram.
That's right, hold on to your butts. Transformers: The Last Knight is coming.
I wonder if and when we'll see a decline in public interest in these films. I'd bet it starts happening around the time Bay leaves. Right now he's printing money each time he directs one of these, both for himself and for the studio, but he works his ass off for it. I find most of these movies to be incomprehensible on even a basic story level, but the man puts a ton of money up on the screen and people respond to that. I don't know if there's anybody else out there who is as good a shooter as he is for this kind of movie.
I personally am pretty checked out on this franchise, but there are a whole lotta people out there who still eat it up. What about you?
