Hey folks, Harry here... When DC announced that it had two blank spots in it's Superhero Calendar... Most assumed it would go to Ben Affleck's BATMAN film and most likely a stand alone SUPERMAN movie, but I have to say, I was pulling for a HARLEY QUINN team up movie with POISON IVY. Every single moment of Harley in the upcoming SUICIDE SQUAD movie, where Margot Robbie is picture perfect as Harley... well, you can't be a fan of Harley and not just covet the very notion of Harley teaming up with some of her DC Femme Fatales and have a good time watching tear ass around!
Well, our pal Borys Kit over at The Hollywood Reporter has gotten wind that Margot Robbie in doing research for playing Harley Quinn, well she became some what evangelical about not just Harley, but the other femaie characters as well - then she got together with an unknown female screenwriter to begin working on an adventure teamup feature. All I know is that if Warners doesn't get Jessica Chastain to play POISON IVY in a 200 times cooler than Thelma & Louise girl power romp... I'll be disappointed.
HARLEY QUINN was just announced not long ago as being one of the 4 towers of the modern DC UNIVERSE along with Wonder Woman, Batman & Superman. Better than that is the notion that both of Harley's creators... PAUL DINI and BRUCE TIMM are here to witness their lil gal continue to kick ass as she's done since they sprung her upon us in the original BATMAN ANIMATED SERIES!!!
