Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. This bit of superhero news is both of the "No shit" variety and the "Oh shit!" variety. It's not a surprise that Michael B. Jordan would be involved in Ryan Coogler's Black Panther film since the two have successfully worked together before (twice), but it's a very welcome bit of news, via THR.
THR doesn't know the role, but they float an unconfirmed rumor that Jordan could be the villain. He joins the recently attached Lupita Nyong'o and once again Black Panther seems like one of the most exciting superhero movies in development.
It's also interesting to note that Michael B. Jordan joining the MCU marks the second time a Fox Human Torch made the big transition. I hope that means we get a scene somewhere at some point with Jordan and Chris Evans together. It'd be a nice little nod.
What do you folks think?
