Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Now that we've all seen Civil War there are two things every one of us can agree on: Spider-Man: Homecoming can't get here soon enough and Ryan Coogler's Black Panther movie is in the same boat.
The Russos did a great job introducing T'Challa and Chadwick Boseman did a bang up job establishing that character as a force to be reckoned with in a short amount of time.
As Marvel gears up on Black Panther we get word, via THR, that none other than Lupita Nyong'o is in talks to join up.
She's quickly becoming a Disney darling with significant roles in the currently unfolding Star Wars universe, the hugely successful Jungle Book and Disney original's Queen of Katwe. It's no surprise she's entering the MCU. She's a great get for Coogler if this works out.
No official word on her character, but she is said to be T'Challa's love interest.
