Hey folks, Harry here... Ang Lee is an auteur director, whose work is never ever to be missed. I've not read Ben Fountain's novel, BILLY LYNN'S LONG HALFTIME WALK.. It's a fictional account of a soldier and his unit sent to a Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game to drum up support for the war in Iraq, meanwhile Billy has alot on his mind... we'll see a lot more than halftime! Not only that, but Ang Lee shot this film in 120 frames a second HFR HD, this is the first time we'll see this tech used for a movie. Remember, Peter Jackson's HOBBIT films were just 48 frames a second, Douglas Trumbull told me at this level, the imagery feels like real life to the brain, going to be interesting. Meanwhile, the conceit of the novel and the story reminds me of Ambrose Pierce's THE OCCURRENCE AT OWL CREEK BRIDGE, which was adapted by Rod Serling into one of the greatest TWILIGHT ZONE episodes ever! Can't wait to see how Ang Lee puts this film together, expect something special!
