Hey folks, Harry here with the latest from the Son of Jor-El upon the X-MEN dvd. Quite some time ago we heard rumors about goofy cameo stuff with Spider-Man on the set of X-MEN... so now we'll be able to see it... and then we get to see ILM sketches and character designs for me and THE BEAST!!! I so can't wait to see these. Oh well, I don't get this dvd till after Christmas... gosh, I gotsta wait. Bummer.
I got the X-Men DVD a couple of days ago and immediately found the two easter eggs. The first is located in the Theatrical Trailers & TV Spots section of the Special Features. When it first opens the menu you will be on "Theatrical Trailer A". Press the left arrow on your remote and a rose will be highlighted. Entering this one will bring up a funny outtake with Halle Berry (Storm), Famke Janssen (Jean Grey) and James Marsden (Cyclops), with a cameo by your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Yes, THE Spider-Man.
The second is in the Art Gallery. After entering the menu Highligh the Main Menu option at the bottom of the screen. Then press up on the remote and Wolverine's dogtags will be highlighted. This will bring up some early sketches and character designs from the crew at Industrial Light and Magic, who were origianally doing the FX, for the characters of The Blob and, best of all, The Beast.
