Hey folks, Harry here and my lil sis decided to take on some rather big material here with an early draft of Roger Avary's SECONDS remake script. Now... for those of you that haven't seen the original John Frankenheimer masterpiece... including you sis satan... Frankenheimer's original was his capper to three of the absolute best paranoid thrillers in the history of film... THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, SEVEN DAYS IN MAY and SECONDS. As a triple bill of paranoia, and a gateway to cinematic madness... The first two get you punch drunk, and SECONDS finishes you off with a combination of blows to your psyche that are just brutal. Now, Avary has done additional writing since this draft, but as of yet noone has seen these drafts... Personally, I'm not entirely sure about the need for a remake of this one. There are just no flaws with the original, I've always been a fan of remaking films that came so damn close to being great that it made ya cry... like William Castle's I SAW WHAT YOU DID or Dick Powell's SPLIT SECOND. Mostow and Avary are incredibly talented though... perhaps they can pull it off. We'll see, here's that saucy sister of mine and her cloven hooves in high heels... bow before her.....

Hello lowly dogs, Sister Satan here with yet another script review. This time of Seconds a script adapted from John Frankenheimers' film of the same title from 1966, which I have yet to see but after reading this script I am very interested in checking out....
Well I'll get on with the news-- This script was written by Roger Avary, yes thats right, the man who helped bring us "Pulp Fiction" "Killing Zoe" "True Romance" and "Reservoir Dogs" and it shows. The draft is written very well, however in my humble opinion it is not yet perfect. Of course it is dated February 5, of 1999 so I am positive there have been changes, its one hundred and twenty two pages of some really weird s**t, it is very hard to put into a single genre so I'll just lump it all together and call it a horrorsci-fimysterysuspencepyshologicalthriller kinda movie...
Okay the first eighteen pages are filled with our main character's life (Antonichus "Tony" Hamilton) one in which he is this mundane insurance claims adjustor whom is about sixty-twoish, getting older, living a life not meant for him in his own eyes. Being replaced by younger people who can do everything faster and better. This guy's life sucks and he knows it. He does however have a wife and a daughter, his daughter lives on the other side of the continent and his wife well, he doesn't even knows if she exists...
Then he mistakenly falls in the clutch of a place that can solve all his problems, erase his old life, give him a second chance to live his life- the one he should have had. So his death is staged perfectly, then he goes through massive surgeries unknown to the public and in a sense is born again. However, inside, he is still "Tony" even though now he has youth and everything he always wished for: money, respect, women, everything...or so he thinks...
From this point on the script really gets good having twists and turns in every direction and being a nonstop surreal journey and I do not wanna give it away. This script has a great deal of potential it is very dark, and has a lot of scenes that will undoubtably either earn it the coveted NC17 or make the editing room floor very very messy, this is for all you curious sickos, because this script has tons of explicit sex scenes which are kinda vital to the films overall point/message.
A great cast of actors and actresses will be needed to do this thing justice and as of right now I do not know of any connected with this project. However, Jonathan Mostow (U-571, & Breakdown) will be not only producing but also directing and seeing that he is talented that would lead me to believe they are going to do this flick the right way. Also Mace Neufeld is co-producing, and he's a guy who has a really long list of great films under his belt (The Hunt For Red October, Patriot Games, The Omen and a lot more).
Well that's all I can say about this film without giving a bunch of spoilers (which I Hate doing) this was a really good read, and I am really interested in seeing what will become of it...and once again if You have any tips on how I kan emproove me wrItens juust lat mkno....Oh and I really wanna thank everyone who sent out congratulations to LOBO and I..
THANX!
well I guess I'll type at yall later
