It’s only a 10-episode summer series that Alec Baldwin will likely be able to tape in two days, but that doesn’t mean the “Hunt For Red October” star isn’t now a game-show host.
ABC will air the new “Match Game” series Sunday nights staring June 26.
The game show aired on all three major networks between 1962 and 1991, with its syndicated version finally ending production in 1999.
The network is reportedly paying Baldwin a monster fee, which he will donate to arts-related charities.
Baldwin, an Oscar nominee and Emmy winner, recently hosted a very short-lived Friday-night talk show on MSNBC.
A veteran of 40 “Knots Landing” episodes, Baldwin also famously played “Match Game” regular Charles Nelson Reilly on “Saturday Night Live.”
