Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Nathan Fillion is awesome, we can all agree on that. Guardians of the Galaxy is awesome and we can all agree on that, so by my calculations that means there won't be one negative comment on the news that Nathan Fillion has a part to play in Guardians of the Galaxy V.2, right?
Before you start breathing all heavy at the thought of Fillion in Guardians his involvement could very well be of the Easter Egg variety, much like his voice cameo in the first film.
OVER AT IMGUR there's a series of pics from the exterior of a movie theater they're shooting at which will be running a Simon Williams Film Festival. The fake posters up feature Fillion as Williams in such films as TOXIC JANITOR (a nod to Gunn's early Troma days, no doubt), ARKON (a nod to the original comic book as Arkon IV was the movie to catapult Williams into superstardom) and HAXAN 2.

That's right. Wonder Man's story is convoluted and full of fake deaths and resurrections, but the coolest thing about the character is that, in the books, his consciousness was given to Vision. No wait, that's the second coolest thing. The first is that when he decided he wanted out of the superhero game he decided to become a stunt man. How awesome is that?
Whether or not Marvel plans to actually incorporate Wonder Man into the MCU for real, this is a great bit of casting for the aloof, vain, but ultimately soft-hearted character. I, for one, hope it's more than just a background gag and comes into play if not in Guardians 2 then maybe sometime down the line.
Oh, and one more cool thing about that IMGUR series of pics... There's a Tony Stark biopic poster featured as well, done in the style of JOBS.
