Hey folks, Harry here... Accuracy of adaptation has never been the X-MEN FOX UNIVERSE's strong suit... In fact, if you loved it in the comic, the X-FU will probably do something that'll make your hardcore X-MEN loving ass cry tears... but I don't intend to be a weeping sphincter over changes... They've firmly established the X-MEN films, to be their own world of existence - and X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is doing some pretty neat things. I dig Nightcrawler wearing a Michael Jackson jacket... Nice to see Whedon's killing of Quicksilver did not reverb throughout the multiverse.... But Mystique leading the X-MEN kinda causes me to break out of prison and scream in the rain. It's ok... this too will be lost like tears in the rain.
Now, when you watch this trailer there's two shots of Mystique, that if you play it at full speed will give you the impression for a heart beat that Mystique could be wearing her white dress, which personally I have been wanting from the very beginning. That... and for Mystique to have a better haircut than straight back greasy comb lines. Here's what I mean... this is my preferred Mystique look...
