It turns out The Doctor has elected this time around to hook up with a hot British girl.
Bill is played by Pearl Mackie (“Doctors”), currently appearing in the National Theatre’s West End production of “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.”
The series returns later this year with a Christmas special, then air a whole new season next year, the last to be overseen by longtime showrunner Stephen Moffat. “Broadchurch” creator Chris Chibnall will take over the following season.
