First off Variety reports a bit of gossip about SPIDERMAN, and how apparently 20th Century Fox is rabidly pursuing the rights to SPIDERMAN. At the same time they mention, so is SONY. I had heard a rumor a while back that MGM was thinking of splitting the rights with SONY to settle the Bond problems. And Sony would give the rights to Emmerich and Devlin to develop. As much as I like those two, I will scream and yell for months on end. I want Cameron on that project, and I think so does the rest of fans out there.

Anyway, my wife worked as a temp receptionist in Sherman Oaks a couple of weeks ago for an art agency. She told me that evening that one of their artists was doing 'something big' that involved Spiderman - she recognised him from my numerous comics etc. The artist in question was going around the office asking if anyone new 'what kind of blue' ol Spidey wore on his suit and was carrying what looked to be a large ad featuring Spidey...

I had the unbelievable luck to have talked to a freind today who was recently at Lightstorm. They said that they passed by JC's office and saw a fresh stack of storyboards out, one of which was a crouched figure....clinging to a wall.

Are all these rumors true? Probably not, this is an early stage for the project, but hopefully it really is moving forward... Harry
