Xander was out chasing Buffy around again and stumbled into a screening of PEACEMAKER. Now he pretty much agreed with everything that the other two spies said about the film, but did think there was one bit that we Ain't It Cool Readers would appreciate.
"Granted, THE PEACEMAKER was shot before BATMAN & ROBIN (May-Sept. '96, according to the production notes), but it's still hilariously appropriate that, in an early scene...George Clooney savagely beats the shit out of (and proceeds to sorta-torture) a character whose name is Herr Schumacher! I'm sure everyone involved will say it's an unintentional coincidence, yadda yadda yadda, but it had me laughing out loud when I made the connection. I'm sure I won't be the only one..."
Hey you PEACEMAKER production people, what's the story on this scene, how did it come about? I'm dying to know if it was a coincidence.
