Did you enjoy the second season of “Daredevil?”
Because Netflix/Marvel’s “The Defenders,” which will team Matt Murdock with fellow Manhattan superheroes Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Danny “Iron Fist” Rand, will have the same showrunners.
Marco Ramirez and “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” vet Doug Petrie will be those showrunners, working with another “Buffy” vet, executive producer Drew Goddard (screenwriter of “The Martian”) aboard also. Ramirez, Petrie and Goddard all worked on the first season of “Daredevil” as well.
The “Defenders” miniseries will differ from the other four Marvel/Netflix series in that it will consist of eight hour-long episodes instead of 13.
Expect lots of punching.
