Pitt and Fincher Reteam... For A Cooking Film'!

Hey, everyone. "Moriarty" here with some Rumblings From The Lab.

Well, Charles Lyons over at VARIETY is reporting that Brad Pitt and David Fincher are considering reteaming on a film called SEARED. He describes it like this:

"The New Line Cinema project is a loose adaptation of chef Anthony Bourdain's KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL, and centers on the rise of a New York celebrity chef."

Lyons suggests that Fincher might follow up PANIC ROOM with this picture, but there's a lot of stuff already on deck for Fincher. That T3 rumor the other day is horseshit. He's not going to be doing that picture. I've heard from my strategically deployed henchmen that FERTIG and RENDEZVOUS WITH RAMA are the two films most likely to follow PANIC ROOM, with BLACK DAHLIA and PASSENGERS still strong contenders as well. That would push SEARED back a bit, but considering they're just starting to adapt the material now, that's probably just as well. It'll give Fincher time to get some of these other intriguing projects onscreen first.

Still... gotta ask... a COOKING film?

"Moriarty" out.
