STX has released a trailer for their latest horror/thriller. THE BYE BYE MAN. The film follows a group of friends who investigate the origins and mysterious powers of a spirit called the Bye Bye Man - an entity responsible for countless deaths and atrocities and capable of bending his victims to his will and forcing them to committ horrific acts.
The trailer doesn't make the film look terribly insprired, but it does star Doug Jones as the villain, so automatic points there. Jones is an incredibly talented actor and usually gives any production he's in at least a few good moments. It also stars Douglas Smith, Carrie-Anne Moss and Faye Dunaway.
Apparently the evil curse and power possessed by the spirit is enough to offset his rather kindergarten name. THE BYE BYE MAN will come to get you on June 3rd. What do you guys think?
