Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with an interesting clip for your Wednesday afternoon. Written and directed by Michael Hurst (ROOM 6, THE DARKROOM), PARADOX revolves around scientists, time travel, and murder! That's just about all I know of the film, other than it features performances by everyone's favorite Kiwi, Ms. Zoë Bell, as well as Malik Yoba, who has been killing it on EMPIRE (though his part in COOL RUNNINGS is unforgettable). In full sincerity, the movie seems like fun, in the sense of watching it at home with a beer in hand. It's an action/thriller with an interesting cast, which I can only imagine based on Hurst's past films, will involve a healthy amount of action. The movie hits screens April 15, 2016 and then enters the VOD world a few days later on April 19, 2016.
A group of young scientists are working on a secret project that may allow them to travel ahead in time. They test it by sending one of their own ahead one hour. He returns pleading with them to shut it down, explaining that within that hour, they will all die.
"The killer is taunting us." "The phones are dead." "The internet, too!" The movie looks like fun, sort of like taking what you love about Carpenter's THE THING and pumping into a new movie, one with no aliens (my guess) or Kurt Russells (again, just a guess). I kid, but knowing me... I'll be checking this movie out in a few weeks. How about you folks?
