Hey folks, Harry here... The BBC noticed that Marvel Studios registered SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com last week. So, of course all us comic geeks think...

Now - us comics geeks know that this HOMECOMING issue of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN followed an amazing return from Marvel's original SECRET WARS storyline where Spidey got his Symbiote costume, which would lead to VENOM eventually... but let's not be in a rush. Ok - so let's play some speculation here... If HOMECOMING is indeed a reference to this issue... then there's a chance we can have Iron Man or Captain America or Thor appearing in the story, as they are in the comic - and while this issue isn't an action spectacular... I've a feeling that Fiege is using the title of this story as an inspiration...
Ok... let's take a step back... This SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING would be coming out in July 7th, 2017 - between now and then we're getting CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, DOCTOR STRANGE and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2. We also know that SPIDER-MAN is getting two costumes in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR and we've seen, this one:

We also know that Fiege has no interest in doing SPIDER-MAN origin stuff - so it is possible that this is the first costume we see puny Parker in... Or that could be the Stark costume... who knows. But there is a possibility that Spidey could appear in his first film following CIVIL WAR as a surrogate SECRET WAR and have his symbiote costume... somehow... OR... we see DOCTOR STRANGE in New York... what if there's a cameo and a symbiote that comes from some other dimension that latches onto Parker... OR... GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2... what if somehow... Gosh that'd be cool.
I mean, if it is SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING... it could mean Feige was really serious about the John Hughes ties - and Parker needs to get Molly Ringwald's panties!!! Personally, I would love it if this film didn't go with crazy world ending action... and instead focused upon life for a teenager with super powers, who actually cares more for his high school life than anything else. Personally, I love the uniform above - and while I have always dug the symbiote costume, I've never been the biggest Venom fan.
SO... what do you think? Is SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING the title? What does it mean to you? Hopes? Dreams? Fears?
And remember, Keep It Cool!
Harry
