Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. My buddies across the pond at Empire have nabbed another exclusive debut. This time they have a new look at Paul Feig's upcoming Ghostbusters reboot.
This still shows the new team unleashing some proton pack frenzy on something spooky. Check it out:
You get to see how different the proton packs are there, mostly in the "gun" part. The stream looks more or less the same, which is a good call. I don't mind them changing things up, but I still wish they had made this a continuation instead of a straight up reboot. The trailer is confusing, trying to have its cake and eat it too. I really think audiences are going to be confused that the original team doesn't show up as themselves, especially in this day and age of the Legacy Sequels.
That choice still sticks in my craw, but the cast is crazy talented and Feig has proven over and over again that he can bring the funny, so I'm still optimistic. What about you guys?
