The premiere of the new GHOSTBUSTERS trailer lit up the internet like a freaking Roman candle last week with both cheers and groans (though, happily, more cheers), and today's release of the international trailer is doing much the same. This trailer drops some of the spectacle and adds in a few smaller, more character-focused moments, particularly from Chris Hemsworth, who plays the team's receptionist. It's going to be hard to fill the amazing shoes of Annie Potts, but Hemsworth is showing some great comedic timing here, and he might have the chops to nail this.
Additionally, the trailer doesn't seem to be afraid to play with the nay-saying of recasting the team as a group of hilarious, yet badass women, which definitely brings a smile to my face.
