Hey folks, Harry here... I've yet to assimilate the whole of SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN DARK, but with Guillermo Del Toro eyeing to direct the movie, I would like to be familiar with as much of the source material as possible. But today, it was announced that THE LEGO MOVIE writers, Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman, have signed onboard to pound out a script for Guillermo to make, probably at least on the otherside of FANTASTIC VOYAGE! This is the third change in writers for this. With Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton of FEAST fame being the first team, then John August, who we know from a host of Tim Burton films handling the previous drafts... the project already has an interesting vibe, I've no knowledge of the particular writing work that the Hageman's have been given, but knowing Guillermo, I'm betting he wants it scary but playful, and if that's the case... these two make all the sense in the world. I really am curious about the line up order that Guillermo is working on... of course, he's probably wondering the same.
