We didn’t know much about JOHN WICK 2, other than the returning (Lance Reddick, Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, Ian McShane) and the new (Laurence Fishburne, Common, Peter Stormare) cast members, but now we know three new key pieces of information: the title, the release date, and setting.

And there’s Exhibitor Relations succinctly giving us an idea of where Wick is headed to, and when we can see him go there.
I’m not entirely sure how all those returning cast members are going to find themselves helping Wick in Italy do..whatever it is he’s compelled to do this time, but Rome sure is one picturesque locale, ain’t it? So much gorgeous architecture for Wick to drive through and blast apart.
Taking the DEADPOOL date sure as shit ain’t no happy accident; if any flick proves that people are down to see some tongue-in-cheek R-rated action with an A-list lead around Valentine’s Day, it’s the Mouthy Merc’s. It’s going against FIFTY SHADES DARKER and THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE, but I think it should do just fine despite the competition. At least, I know which one everyone I know will be seeing.
