Remember the end of the Supergirl pilot, when she announced the world doesn’t just have one superhero anymore. Because now there's a Superman and a Supergirl.
Well, it looks like her world is getting a third (or a fourth, if you want to count J’onn J’onzz The Martian Manhunter).
Grant Gustin is bringing his CW Flash character to CBS’ “Supergirl” on March 28.
I’d guess Supergirl’s universe is part of the multiverse The Flash stumbled upon at the beginning of the season. This would explain why Supergirl thinks there’s only two superheroes in her world, and why Flash, Green Arrow, The Atom, Firestorm and Hawkman never mention Superman. (I wonder if Batman exists in either universe.)
“Supergirl” is the highest-rated of Greg Berlanti’s four DC superhero shows, and there appear to be no plans yet for Supergirl to visit The CW’s “Flash,” “Arrow” or “Legends of Tomorrow.”
