Hey folks, Harry here... So we know that the Nicole Perlman has been announced as being hired by TRISTAR and HENSON's company to update LABYRINTH to the 21st Century - but besides Lucas and the dearly departed Bowie seemingly not involved - there's the FROUD family - whom laid the aesthetic look for the whole LABYRINTH world. Here's what Toby Froud (the baby by the way) had this to say about the project and his parents:
Hello Labyrinth fans - Brian, Wendy and myself would all like to say that we know nothing about a Henson, Labyrinth "Reboot" although it's just been called to our attention. What ever is happening - is happening without our knowledge - but it's not up to us then, is it. We do hope to be included if this is going to happen - but we'll let you know if we find out.
Certainly, let's hope TRISTAR and HENSON get in touch with the Froud family and bring them aboard. Cuz in my mind, there simply is no LABYRINTH without the Froud family. Take a look at these designs:
