Longtime talkbacker Shermdawg recaps last month’s “Running To Stand Still”:
- Mark "Weather Wizard" Marden broke Leonard "Captain Cold" Snart, and James Jesse aka "The Trickster" from Iron Heights Prison in hopes of ridding Central City of The Flash once and for all. Snart however, passed on the team-up request and alerted Barry of their intentions before skipping town.
- Posing as Santa, the Trickster passed out time-bombs as gifts to unsuspecting children. Once Flash tracked him and Marden down, he was forced into taking a beating or a hundred families would be having a pretty lousy holiday. Team Flash however, managed to save Christmas and quickly disposed of the bombs while Barry suffered a beatdown.
- After Trickster and his plans were thwarted, Patty Spivot wrestled with the urge to seek vengeance on Marden, her father's killer, but ultimately chose to arrest him after Flash talked her down. Because....y'know, conjugal visits are way too much of a hassle.
- Iris West finally spilled the beans regarding Joe having a son he wasn't aware of. After coming to terms with the news and making peace with his ex....Wally showed up on Joe's doorstep during a Christmas get-together with Team Flash.
- Earth-2's Harrison Wells had a family reunion of his own when Zoom let him see his daughter before striking up a deal where he'd help Barry increase his power in exchange for her safety. Once Allen maxed out his speed, Zoom hopes to absorb it for his own in his quest to remain....the fastest man alive!
