Alleged LORD OF THE RINGS posters and first image of Lara Croft

Every now and again I like to sit on something a while till I can get it figured out. Today, this morning... two things arrived in the ol email account.... Pictures of what claimed to be 3 LORD OF THE RINGS posters. (Coming Attractions was first with these) When I saw these designs, I just felt that this wouldn't be the look that NEW LINE and Peter Jackson were going to head in. I just didn't buy it..... Xoanon at TheOneRing.Net later finds out from New Line that the images were tests and experiments with directions they might go in... but that the three images would not be being used in the promotion of the film ever.
Next was an alleged Lara Croft photo, autographed by Jolie as her name and in her hand... Lara Croft. Problem was... this picture looks almost exactly like a shot and a promotional image from 'I think' GONE IN SIXTY SECONDS.... but I could be wrong. You can see this image at: EmpireOnline.Co.Uk
