Ya know.... no matter what political affiliation you may be a part of, this evening's Presidential election is literally the most amazing Hitchcock suspense film I've ever witnessed. Right now... Quint and I are sitting in my room listening to the incompetent sobs at CNN bumble their way through an obscenely close election.
Right now... FLORIDA is down to a 1200 vote margin.... there are still apparently alot of votes out there... but it could be that it would be 10 days till we get the final word on whether or not Al Gore or George W Bush Jr is president.
These CNN blokes are making fun of their sources, they are punch drunk and are no longer capable of simple subtraction.... And then a local election official in Florida hangs up on them.... and ya know... I'm laughing my ass off. This is literally the funniest damn variety show I've ever seen.
Right now... this is the closest margin since Kennedy / Nixon.... and it is astoundingly entertaining. You know my position... I'm rooting for Gore.... you could be rooting for Bush... Whatever the case... This is history.... real damn amazing history. Reporters are claiming to lack the vocabulary to describe what is happening.... I am coming to the rescue... I know the exact phrase to describe all of this....

At least I was fucking up about MOVIES and not the leadership of our entire country... Ya know what.... At least my mistake was one-fold.... this has been consistent flubs and mistakes throughout the entire evening due to over-eager reporting. Ahhhh... pot calling kettle black? yeah, but my point has always been... Noone is perfect, at least I don't pretend to be.

This election is Quint's first.... he has no sense of what the fuck is going on... he has that Bambi Semi Truck experience daze... and this is friggin funny. You folks that waited for an hour and a half for BUTT NUMB A THON tickets.... Here in Austin, there are thousands of Republicans standing in the freezing cold fucking rain.... sick for weeks... Rich fine clothes.... drunk and silly.... toyed with throughout the night.... I mean, I really really really feel for them. I mean, Christ... They are not even going to hear George today.... He's in the mansion stunned... just like Gore in Tennessee... My god.... all you political folks out there waiting and giving support for their candidates.

More people will be at BUTT NUMB A THON than currently separates Bush from Gore in Florida.... 224 votes... Recounts... military votes.... INSANE!!!! I LOVE THIS!!!! DANCE DANCE DANCE DANCE!!!! ABSURDITY.... Gore just took the popular vote lead across the nation.... hhahaha, oh shit... ribs hurting... oh fuck.... YEAH!!! YOU LA GEEKS RULE!!!!! now Florida is 906 apart.... forced recount... soldier votes... possible 10 day hold up on the decision on who'll be president.
