Hey folks, Harry here with some pretty darn cool news... seems that Zhang Ziyi (absolute heavenly goddess of CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON fame) is going to be the lady in RUSH HOUR 2... Nice taste Brett! After you see her in CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON... woo boy, you'll die. Here ya go...
Hi Harry, this is Wei again. I read it from a chinese news Web site. Maybe it is still a rumor. Zhang Ziyi(CTHD, The Road Home), who just finished shooting "Knight" (A korean movie), is going to US to discuss her role in Jackie Chan's "Rush Hour 2."
"Rush Hour 2" will start shooting in Hong Kong at the end of this month, and the budget will be as much as $90 million. The director, Brett Ratner, would like to have a famous attress. Finally they chose Zhang Ziyi. It is not clear how much she will get paid. Both Zhang Ziyi and the company declined to comment it. Some rumor said it should be over $1 million. Since Zhang Ziyi's english is not good enough, she is learning pretty hard right now.
