Hello ladies and gentlemen, Muldoon here with roughly 1/107th of a pretty fun film with an "exclusive" clip from A CHRISTMAS HORROR STORY. I was fortunate to catch the film when it played at BNAT and while the version I saw wasn't completely locked, it was still a fun dip into some pretty bizarre takes on familiar stories/fables/characters. I found the film fun and definitely something to check out if you're looking to get into the Christmas spirit and lean a little further from the staples (Home Alone, Scrooged, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story)... You know - perhaps something with more slays than sleighs in it. The folks at RLJ Entertainment have kindly provided me with the below clip in hopes that some of you enjoy it enough to see the film when they release it on DVD and BluRay on November 24. Again, I had fun with the film and think this clip perfectly gives you an idea of what to expect going in. It's loaded with a handful of wild stories all wrapped around the holiday. Ghosts, demon creatures, and a big Jolly (Ass kicking) Santa Clause at its core. Shoot off your thoughts in the Talkbacks!
Christmas is supposed to be a time of joy, peace and goodwill. But for some folks in the small town of Bailey Downs, it turns into something much less festive. When Krampus - the anti-Santa who punishes the naughty children - is summoned by a young boy, everyone’s fight for survival begins.
