Gotham 2.8 FAQ

What’s it called?
“Tonight’s The Night.”

Who’s responsible?
Teleplay is credited to Jim Barnes (“Nikita,” “Revolution,” “Falling Skies”), making his “Gotham” scripting debut.

What says Fox?
“Galavan sends Barbara after Jim Gordon, while he tries to make a business deal with Bruce Wayne. Barnes and Bullock are hot on Barbara’s trail, and Nygma has a run-in with a familiar face.”

Which “familiar face” does Nygma have a run-in with?
I should not say, as the run-in occurs in the last few seconds of the episode.

Is it Nygma’s evil doppleganger?
No.

How does it start?
With the rehearsal of the wedding of James Gordon to Barbara Kean. (Maybe she’s not that into Tabitha Galavan after all!)

Does Two-Face Dent get all jealous over The Riddler’s split personality?
No Dent this week. And no more split personality for Ed.

What’s taking Lucius Fox so long to fix Thomas Wayne’s computer?
Alfred banged it up pretty good. Let’s hope its contents are worth the wait.

Does Nygma slap a giant felt question-mark on a green unitard this week?
No. But he is dressed for evildoing this week.

Any sign of Crispis Allen, Renee Montoya, or Ivy Pepper this week?
No.

Does Morena Baccarin’s character die this week?
I’ll only say Dr. Leslie Thompkins is imperiled by someone who has imperiled her before, but not Ed.

The big news?
Barbara turns herself in to the GCPD.

What else is Fox not telling us?
Penguin is barely in tonight's episode, and Butch not at all.

What’s good?
Morena Baccarin. Richard Kind. The kiss. Nygma’s picnicking outfit. “Rough me up a little.”

What’s not so good?
This episode is one of the season’s weakest.

How does it end, spoiler boy?
“Help me! Please!”

8 p.m. Monday. Fox.
