Hey folks, Harry here... The following is a RUMOR... unconfirmed so treat it like one.... But if this is true... phooey! I really really wanted Jet Li to be opening up a can of whupass all over these new MATRIX films, but hey... what can we do? Right now, I'm sort of curious if they can live up to the expectations that the first film placed in our heads... I mean, is the movie in our collective brainpan even feasible? (SHAKES HEAD) I didn't think so. I just hope they knock it out of the park. I think there is all types of room to be cooler in these new ones... and I had felt that Jet Li was a step in that direction. Hmmmm, maybe they can get Jeffrey Falcon....

I'm afraid I have bad news. To be honest, I'm not a huge Jet Li fan, but I know you are and I thought you'd want to hear about this.
My friend who is working on pre-production for The Matrix 2 and 3 has informed me that they have decided not to include Jet in the Matrix sequels. The script has been completed and they've opted to have the character Jet was originally being cast for played by either with either Tom Cruise (gross) or Hugh Jackman (Wolverine from X-Men -- also kinda gross).
Personally I think it's a horrendous decision, but I'm in no position to affect any changes. Maybe you can rally the troops and protest this obviously bad decision.
