When IRREVERSIBLE/ENTER THE VOID director Gaspar Noe makes a movie, it’s best to pay attention. Crazy shit’s going down.
This trailer for his latest, LOVE, is kinetic and jaw-dropping in all the ways one would hope for, and hints at the crazy 3D lovemaking that we’ve been promised thus far. This is hard-X stuff here, but based on the form of what we’re seeing here, this is going to be on the opposite end of the spectrum from some shot-in-a-day, room-lighting porno.
I don’t think this will be wall-to-wall sex, just like ENTER THE VOID wasn’t three hours of folks smoking DMT, but clearly the act (and the titular emotion that sometimes accompanies it) is the central focus. Who doesn’t want to take a look into that most fragile of human emotions with someone as brazen and intense as Noe?
