We've got a pair of Featurettes on Robert Zemeckis' THE WALK... hair-raising stuff!

Hey folks, Harry here...  This movie thrills me.  I love the ambition to share something beautiful that happened with the World Trade Center.  I feel that we spend too much attention on tragedy and not nearly enough upon beauty.   As a film geek, I tend to mainly think of the Twin Towers with the Dino De Laurentis production of KING KONG.  The other cinematic experience that stuck with me was MAN ON WIRE, the documentary about Phillippe Petit's utterly insane and transcendent walk between two ridiculously tall buildings in our country's grandest city.  With the documentary being so well loved and real - there's been a lot of conversation about why would Robert Zemeckis dedicate his time and energy to this story - and he answers that in these Featurettes.   Both Featurettes are in the single embed below, so give them both a watch.

By all means, check out MAN ON WIRE if you haven't.   It is a beautiful acheivement in storytelling.   As for Zemeckis' THE WALK...  we'll see soon enough - and frankly, the IMAX 3D presentation of this, I'm prepared to be shocked by.   The way Zemeckis likes to play with cinema and the way he's going to place the audience upon that wire - way up there....  it'll be amazing, I bet.   Here ya go:

Keep it cool,

Harry
