Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. A little tidbit came out of TIFF over the weekend and before it completely slipped through the cracks I thought I'd share it because it's actually kinda awesome.
Like many of you I had a lot of issues with Ridley Scott's Prometheus. Lots of big ideas, an absolutely gorgeous design and a few strong performances couldn't save the film from feeling muddled and logically unsound.
That said, I am foaming at the mouth for its sequel. Who wouldn't want to see the continuing adventures of post-alien abortion Noomi Rapace and her Fassbender robot head sidekick as they explore the galaxy?
Deadline has a quote from Scott about Michael Fassbender for sure returning to the character. I assume he'll get reattached to a body at some point, but I'd kind of go a little apeshit if he spends the whole movie as a head tied to her belt, giving advice and helping when he can.
