Well a spy named Nemesis sent in a highly interesting 'alleged' news bit. Ok, remember how yesterday I told you folks that I was contacted by my hotel buddy in New York about Michael Cameron? Well, now I received a report saying Brother Jim was spotted very pleased leaving MGM.
MGM is the studio with the rights to SPIDERMAN. Now 'IF' the source is true, this could mean A)Cameron has purchased SPIDERMAN (not likely) B)Sealed a deal to direct it at MGM C)Sealed a deal to direct it with MGM and FOX D)Started negotiations on a good foot for Spidey or E)He decided to stop in on an old friend, who bet him Tomorrow Never Dies would beat TITANIC at the box office and collect his winnings. Folks, think positively on this one. Focus positive thought energies at James Cameron and Spiderman. Meditate on it, picture it, sing it in the streets... you know humiliate yourself everywhere until it happens.
Here is exactly what Nemesis sent me. If you are at MGM and can confirm this, do so as soon as possible please. The heartbeats of a bazillion slobbering Spidey fans will rise or flatline on this.
Well, Harry in case you're interested--a friend of mine who works at the MGM complex in sunny Santa Monica just spotted a very pleased looking James Cameron exiting the commons area of the studio's wing.
And if I'm not mistaken, MGM bought the right from Carolco last year, correct? Methinks that the gears are quite possibly in motion...
